The Caminus is the online portfolio of artist James Maurice (Jamie) Clark. Located in Calgary, Alberta Canada and administered by Caminus Photography Inc., the site is linked to an online store through which prints are available for purchase, worldwide. Jamie's subject matter includes architectural, landscape, cityscape, abstract and night photography. Caminus Photography Inc. also offers architectural and facility photographic services.
Jamie selected the name "The Caminus" from the Latin word for forge in keeping with his view of his photography in essence as the manipulation of light, a malleable element which is worked and shape through the lens of the camera analogous to the industrial process of the hearth.
